PLATFORM

Taxes

  • Cut property taxes
  • End Robinhood scheme of wealth redistribution
  • Advocate flat tax at federal level (income tax): 10% ... No loopholes!

Education

  • Offer school vouchers - as a stepping stone to privatizing education altogether
  • Offer school choice - as a stepping stone to privatizing education altogether
  • Advocate more private schools
  • Trim waste from government-run schools
  • Support local curriculum development & local textbook purchases
  • Oppose the inclusion of "Intelligent Design" in science curriculum

Campaign Reform

  • Lead by example - run a small-budget campaign
  • Take advantage of "free" publicity: news media and candidate forums
  • Avoid conflicts of interest: only accept contributions from individuals

Prison Reform

  • Release those convicted of "victimless" crimes ASAP: drugs, gambling and prostitution
  • Simplify sentencing structure (See my "Five Strikes" Program )
  • Actually rehabilitate convicts via "hard labor & harder education"
  • Utilize capital punishment more timely and efficiently

Transportation

  • Oppose retro-fitting existing, already-paid-for roads as toll roads
  • Support user fees (rather than community taxes) to pay for rail systems
  • Support ridding highways of unsafe & unclean vehicles
  • Increase safety & decrease traffic by requiring much stricter standards for driver licenses
